In a thrilling shift at the top of European football rankings, Bayern Munich has dethroned Real Madrid to claim the first position in UEFA’s latest club coefficient standings.

Following the conclusion of the two-legged Champions League quarter-finals for the 2025/26 season, UEFA released the updated club coefficient rankings, which take into account performances from the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League over the past five years. The coefficients are crucial for assessing clubs’ successes across European competitions.

Bayern Munich leads the rankings with an impressive score of 146.500 points, closely followed by Real Madrid at 144.500 points. Liverpool stands firmly in third place with 130.000 points. Notable entries include Inter Milan, the only Serie A club in the top 10, at fourth, and Paris Saint-Germain, the solitary representative from Ligue 1, at fifth. Manchester City has dropped to sixth place after a disappointing exit in the Champions League Round of 16.

The distribution of the top ten is as follows: La Liga and the Premier League have three teams each, while the Bundesliga secures two spots, and Ligue 1 and Serie A each represent with one team.
