Talking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview, Beganovic said that he will be going to America to support the team during the World Cup.

“I feel amazing. We watched the game at home. We felt we could do something, but also in the final, we had a strong opponent in Italy.

“When the game started, I thought how we played that game was brave with passion, and then we wanted to show our quality. We wanted to try to catch thelast place inthe World Cup, and then, in the end, it was an amazing feeling to beat Italy on penalties.

He is the first to admit that the match between the two nations was a tough one, but says that he was grateful to have witnessed his home side secure their place at the prestigious tournament for only the second time in history.

“I think since 2014, in Brazil, for the first time we went there (the World Cup). I remember how proud we felt of our country. I think everyone will now enjoy that one month to support our country and watch the World Cup. It’s much better because we have a young, strong team.

“I think this group of players, also the coaching staffwithhead coachSergej Barbarez, did agreat job. We came through the tough times,” Beganovictold Soccer Laduma.

Meanwhile, the TS Galaxy coach added that the young players have improved a lot and helped the team beat Italy.

“Find the young players, improve young players, in the endthey played the semi-finals and then finals against Italy, and I think we are so happy, so proud of everything thatboth the national team do and then represent us in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

“After the game, we thought we wanted to go to the World Cup to just have that feeling, now we think about much more. We try to talk about how we can cross the group stage, and then maybe for the first time in history, go to the next stage.

“You know how I say in football, everything is possible… But we need to understand that we have to stay calm and go to the games with plan A, B, C, and then we think about everything else,” Beganovic explained.
