Kibera Black
Stars coach Idd Badi says their 1-0 win over Darajani Gogo in the Kibera Derby
is a morale booster as they seek SportPesa League qualification.

The win, he
said, underlines their intentions to qualify for the top-tier league this
season.“The win
means a lot to us as a team and gives us morale as we prepare for our upcoming
games,” said Badi.

He added: “Our
monthly target remains the same – to achieve the maximum of 12 points. This
will push us to where we want to be at the end of the season.”

On the
encounter against neighbours, Darajani Gogo, Badi said: “The derby was not easy,
especially considering the weather conditions and the slippery field.”

He added
that the game that was played at Vapour Ground in Ngong was evenly balanced.
“We scored
from open play through a move we have been working on in training. The fighting
spirit during the game was high,” he remarked.

game, Kibera Black Stars goalkeeper Evans Ouma saved a penalty to keep his side
in the game. Dangerman Jephter Bundi scored the all-important goal for Black
Stars.Next
