Former Inter Milan forward Antonio Cassano has showered praise on Lautaro Martinez, calling him one of the premier centre-forwards in the global football landscape.
Marking his return to form, Martinez found the net twice as Inter Milan triumphed over Roma with an emphatic 5-2 victory on Sunday night.
During an appearance on Viva el Futebol, Cassano stated, “Inter are the best in Italy, no doubt about it.”
He added, “With Lautaro, who is the best player in the league, it’s a whole other ballgame, and we saw that on Sunday. Then there are the clowns who say he’s not decisive… Toro is phenomenal, he’s among the top three or five strikers in the world. I say that without any qualms.”
