In a decisive final match, Hull City secured a spot in the Premier League Playoffs, aided by defender Semi Ajayi, as they clinched sixth place in the Championship with 73 points.

The team triumphed over Norwich City with a 2-1 victory, with Ajayi remaining an unused substitute during the game. This result positioned Hull City two points clear of Wrexham, who could only manage a 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough.

Wrexham’s goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who recently made the switch to represent the Super Eagles, was also on the bench for his side in their final match.

The winners of the Playoffs will join Coventry City, who have secured the Championship title, and Ipswich Town, the runners-up, in the Premier League next season.
