Reassessing his challenging year at Real Madrid, Endrick shines during his loan at Olympique Lyon.

Endrick, the young striker on loan at Olympique Lyon, has reflected on his tumultuous time at Real Madrid, emphasizing that he bears no ill will towards himself for his previous struggles in Spain.

Since his January transfer to Lyon, Endrick has made significant strides, demonstrating a newfound confidence and form. He understands the challenges he faced at one of the world’s most prestigious clubs. “It’s the most successful club in the world. It’s difficult to play in Madrid for everyone, young or veteran,” he stated as he considered his experiences.

The Brazilian international acknowledged the immense pressure that comes with joining a club like Real Madrid, where expectations are perpetually high. “They’re always looking for new talent, and the fans want to see them as soon as possible, but it’s not always possible,” he added, shedding light on the intense scrutiny athletes face in such an environment.

A pivotal influence during his time at Real has been manager Carlo Ancelotti. Endrick fondly recalled, “I learned a lot from him in Madrid. I scored goals in every competition we played together. The work is different, without the daily routine, but I’m sure we’ll achieve something great together,” as he praised his former coach, who is now managing the Brazilian national team.

Looking ahead, Endrick is concentrating on his current commitments rather than speculating about a potential return to Madrid. “My future is next week. The next opponent. Preparing well for every training session and every match,” he remarked as he gears up for upcoming challenges.
