As Inter Milan edges closer to clinching the Scudetto, attention turns to potential summer signings, with former striker Aldo Serena advocating for reinforcements in defence.

With this season’s Serie A title within reach, Serena underscores the importance of using this success as a springboard for future ambitions.
In an interview with La Repubblica, he stated, “Inter Milan: the Scudetto is done. They need to start from (Cristian) Chivu’s ideas, understand which module he wants to start from, and act accordingly, even at the cost of making painful choices.”
Serena argued for a focus on bolstering the defence, suggesting, “I’d start with a big central defender: (Gleison) Bremer would be a great name, but Kim (Min-jae) is a good name too. And a goalkeeper. (Giglielmo) Vicario would be fine.”
While he expressed confidence in the current attacking lineup, including standout striker Bonny, Serena highlighted the need for further depth and quality. “I had no doubts about this attack… However, I would like a player at (Desire) Doué, Kvara (Khvicha Kvaratskhelia), (Ademola) Lookman or Nico Paz. It’s not easy to take them, but the characteristics must be those,” he added.
