Victor Osimhen is eager to make his return to action as he aims to lead Galatasaray in their crucial clash against Genclerbirligi this Saturday.
The Super Eagles striker has been recuperating from an arm injury sustained during a UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool last month, temporarily sidelining him from the squad.
Osimhen resumed full training with the Galatasaray first team on Wednesday, donning a protective bandage on his injured arm.
In a bid to re-establish himself as a key player, he reportedly held a private discussion with head coach Okan Buruk, expressing his desire to start in the upcoming match against Genclerbirligi, who find themselves perilously close to the relegation zone, only two points clear.
Galatasaray has struggled in Osimhen’s absence, failing to secure crucial points and finding themselves just two points ahead of arch-rivals Fenerbahçe as they prepare for the 30th round of the Turkish Super Lig.
