Durban City striker Letsie Koapeng has said that, as much as they would like to celebrate their Nedbank Cup victory over TS Galaxy on Saturday, there is not enough time for the festivities.
Talking to the media after their win, the former Orlando Pirates striker said that they have now shifted their focus to the league, where they are determined to finish as high as they can in the top eight at the end of the season.

“We’ve got another fixture. We’ve got another task on Tuesday. Travelling tomorrow morning (Sunday). So, we have a very, very small window to celebrate. We’re going to be with the team, we’ll be with our families, and they’re also with us now. We’re going to keep it very small, very intimate,” Koapeng said.
Meanwhile, the former Bidvest Wits striker said they are looking to continue with the same momentum they showed in the cup final, going into the Betway Premiership League encounter.
“With one eye going into Tuesday. We need to take this momentum. We were in a slump coming into this game, but luckily, the final is an occasion on its own.
“We need to be able to take this momentum, translate it into our league run. I think we’ve got four more games, hopefully we can finish, top six, top five. I see it going in our favour because now we’ve got our tails up. Let’s just keep our feet on the ground and just keep working every day,” Koapeng concluded.
