In a significant move for his burgeoning career, Nigerian teenage talent Imran Musa has signed with Swedish top-tier club Hammarby, according to reports from Soccernet.ng.
The 18-year-old winger joins the Stockholm-based team after an impressive spell at Beyond Limits FA, a rapidly rising academy in Nigeria. The transfer was officially confirmed on Wednesday, with Beyond Limits announcing that all necessary arrangements had been completed for Musa’s departure to Europe.
In a brief statement, the academy expressed their support: “All formalities have been agreed in principle for the transfer of our winger, Imran Musa to Hammarby. Wishing you the very best of luck in Europe.”

Born in Kano State in 2008, Musa is highly regarded as one of Nigeria’s most promising young players. Primarily a left winger, he is known for his quick pace, sound decision-making, and astute understanding of the game, despite his young age.
His football journey began with Shield City FA in Kano before moving to Beyond Limits in Ogun State, where he quickly emerged as a pivotal player. His contributions were instrumental in securing victories in notable competitions, including the 2025 TCC Cup and the 2025 Gothia Cup, drawing the attention of European scouts.
The transfer was facilitated by Fella Sports Management in collaboration with Global Soccer Management, showcasing the increasingly structured pathway for young Nigerian talents seeking opportunities abroad.
Imran Musa: Adapting to New Beginnings in Sweden
Upon arriving at Hammarby, Musa will initially integrate with the club’s development side, Hammarby Talang FF, which competes in Ettan Norra, the third tier of Swedish football. This setup is designed to help young players acclimatize to the European style of play.

Musa’s early weeks will focus on training and acclimatizing to his new surroundings, with aspirations of making a quick impression on the reserve team and subsequently earning a promotion to the senior squad.
Hammarby has commenced the season steadily, accumulating three points from their initial two matches. Musa could make his debut in forthcoming fixtures against opponents such as Piteå IF, Vasalund IF, and IF Karlstad in the weeks ahead.
