The excitement is building as the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) has announced the highly anticipated dates for two major tennis tournaments in Abuja for June 2026. The Central Bank Open will take place from June 21 to June 30, while the DavNotch Open is scheduled to follow from June 20 to June 27.

Both prestigious events will be hosted in Package B of the National Stadium, providing a prominent venue for local and international players.

In addition to the tournaments, an International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level 1 Coaching Course is set to be held from June 17 to June 26, further enhancing the development of tennis in the region.

In related news, Nigerian tennis star Seun Ogunsakin has earned a qualifying spot in the junior category of the renowned Roland Garros event taking place in Paris, France. This achievement is historic as Ogunsakin will be the first Nigerian player to participate in this prestigious junior tournament in decades.
