Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso claims his side are ‘fighting against everything’ following their 7-4 win over Siwelele FC on Saturday night.
The Brazilians were able to get back on the winning trail after seeing off Siwelele FC in an 11-goal thriller.

Sundowns cemented top spot but the title race remains in Orlando Pirates’ favour ahead of their final game of the season against TS Galaxy on Tuesday.
“Absolutely, I think we’re in a very discomfort of situation when you have to think that after that match in four days, you’re going be playing one of the important games that can be played in a football player, coach or club’s life and we don’t feel any support on it.
“I can tell you one thing people will maybe not accept what I’m going to say, but ASFAR on the following day we played Kaizer Chiefs had a wide angled video from our game delivered I know because someone saw so we’re fighting against a lot of things but we’re strong enough to deal with everything.”
The Sundowns tactician also hailed his players for pushing through this tough period of the season.
“I said that last year, last year was a season completely different from this one. This season was a walk in the park for some of our opponents. We’ve been fighting like big, big men with a lot of commitment, will to overcome difficulties and will continue until the limit of our strengths.
“I feel privileged to be here to be coach of this team, to be coach of this group of players that are very resilient and still find energy where I think there’s nothing to give, but the guys are magnificent and I’m very proud of that.”
