Maduka Okoye continues to establish himself as a formidable presence in goal, achieving his ninth clean sheet as Udinese triumphed over Torino 2-0 in a tightly contested Serie A match on Saturday.

The Nigerian goalkeeper, who was instrumental in the match, made his 27th appearance for Udinese, playing the full 90 minutes at the Dacia Arena.

Despite a hopeful opening for Udinese when Nicolo Zaniolo found the back of the net in the 22nd minute, the goal was ruled offside following a VAR review.

Determined not to be disheartened, Udinese struck first in first-half stoppage time, with Kingsley Ehizibue scoring a well-executed goal.

In the 51st minute, the hosts doubled their advantage through a precise low drive from Kristensen, leaving Torino’s goalkeeper Alberto with no chance.

This victory propels Udinese to 10th place in the Serie A standings with 47 points, while Torino remains in 13th with 41 points.
